How to Submit: Submissions in hard copy (paper), typed, double-spaced. Name and Address on story. Include an SASE for return of manuscript/disk, otherwise it will not be returned.

REQUIRED: a copy of your manuscript in ASCII format on 3.5" or 5.25" DOS-compatible floppy disk. Macintosh computers are able to export into DOS format. State in cover letter if you want your disk returned.

TGC now accepts submissions via commercial online services. ASCII files can be sent via email to:

Do NOT send items as regular E-mail--send them as attached files. Special software for your particular online service may be required.

What We Accept: TGC is especially interested in complete short stories of Science Fiction and Fantasy. Larger pieces of fiction (i.e serials) are discouraged.

We have an adult audience, but we don't want smut. Graphic blood-and-guts horror is discouraged. Absolutely no derivative fiction (i.e. Star Trek, Star Wars, or copyrighted characters of other authors).

SF & F Poetry is accepted. We prefer narrative poems, or those that paint a vivid picture.

Non-fiction articles pertaining to SF & F are also welcome. We encourage book, movie, and computer-game reviews, author interviews, and analysis of SF & F works. Science and technology articles, especially those concerned with computers and space exploration, will be considered.

Artwork with an SF & F theme is accepted. Hard-line B&W ink drawings reproduce best. Color, and pencil drawings using shading and gray-scales may not reproduce well, but will be considered. Artists willing to illustrate future stories are encouraged to contact TGC.

What We Pay: Payment at this time is by contributor copies only.

Publication Rights: TGC takes First North American Serial Rights only. All other rights revert immediately to the author/artist upon publication.
